Mid February new drillings for drinking water will take place at Welbedacht and Dankbaarkondre. Special equipment and other technical resources are needed for this work to ensure the project is successful.
To ensure that the necessary goods arrive in Suriname on time, it was decided to send the first container of 2025 in mid-December 2024. This called for a swift and efficient preparation.
Our volunteers worked hard to get the container ready in time, and they succeeded. On December 17, the container was picked up and brought to the harbor. The day before Christmas, the container was shipped and left for Suriname.
Although there was some delay en route and during customs clearance in Suriname, the container finally arrived at our storage location in Welbedacht on February 7.
