In the New Apostolic Church in Sneek a concert took place on Sunday the 1st of December 2024 for Surinam.
Thirteen members of the Orkest Regio Noord and a fifteen head choir of the Projectkoor Leeuwarden and the Districtskoor Noord, gave a tasteful and atmospheric advent concert. A varied program was presented with well-known Christmas songs both modern and somewhat older.
The visitors, 120 in total, were spellbound by the sounds and were taken into a Christmas atmosphere. At the same time the concert was shown on YouTube..
The admission to the concert itself was free of charge. Afterwards the public, either live present or via YouTube, could make a donation for Stichting Corantijn, in cash or via a QR code.
At the end of a wonderful afternoon there was an amount of € 795,00. We thank the visitors and the organisation of this gathering.
