University of Applied Sciences Utrecht is replacing part of their digi-touchscreens and five data projectors and accessories that were being used in their lecture halls. The screens are still in excellent condition which led them to this donation to the education project of Stichting Corantijn.
At the HU site, volunteers from HU Utrecht took part in collecting the screens and loading them into the truck.
The company Heuvelman company had packaged the vast majority of the touchscreens so that they were ready for transport.
By now five of the screens have been shipped to Curaçao where they are donated to a primary school. Bonaire has been provided with fifteen touchscreens for various purposes.
The other digi-touchscreens will be used as digital blackboards in Suriname and are distributed among the containers that will be shipped in 2025.
Wonderful that the screens will get a second life in numerous places.
Thanks to everyone, including our own volunteers, who helped making this happen!
