Sunday afternoon the 9th of June a benefit concert was held for Stichting Corantijn in the New Apostolic Church of Sneek. Visitors were welcomed at the door and soon the concert started. Not only a male choir but also a mixed choir and soloists performed their repertoire.
Afterwards the organizer was thanked with flowers and those present were treated to drinks and nibbles. Everyone agreed they had a great afternoon.
The organization was pleasantly surprised by the amount raised, € 1,195.00 (€ 900.00 in cash and € 295.00 via the QR code), which will benefit Stichting Corantijn. This amount has been donated as a contribution to sending a container of relief supplies to Suriname.
