The primary school O.S. Afobaka in the small village of Dankbaarkondre, district Brokopondo, received learning- and play materials.
To teach the children to tell the time, the teachers received large clocks colored in bright red. The teacher has also been considered 😉.
For the pupils, most of whom have shortage of everything at home, school materials were provided like pencils, pens, erasers, exercise-books, etc. Now they can learn to write and make calculations in their own exercise-books.
Next to learning, playing is very important to clear your head. And what could be better than playing with balls?
In short, everyone is happy, the teachers, children and also our volunteers who brought this to the school during their holidays, on behalf of Stichting Corantijn.
