On Friday, October 20, our bus drove the route through the provinces of Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe, including a stop in the village of Loon at soccer club vv LEO.
Via webstore 123inkt.nl, which is a sponsor of this club, Stichting Corantijn came into contact with them. The football clothing of the youth players has already been replaced and we received six double banana boxes with 'old' outfits, meant for charity.
Stichting Corantijn was the lucky one.
The clothing is sorted and packaged at our depot by our volunteers. Early next year, the next container will leave that will take these packages to Surinam where the clothing will be distributed among children and young people from schools.
