The situation of this lady is very bad. On both her lower legs and feet she has open wounds that won’t heal. Bandages are expensive and is something she cannot afford. She washes the bandage she used so that she can re-dress the wound. Not wise in her situation. Walking independently, without help, is difficult. Former employee of the St. Vincentius Hospital, Mrs. Melcherts, asked for help for this lady.
Stichting Corantijn has sent bandages and a walking frame for her. A gentleman, known by Mrs. Melcherts, brought this all to her home.
