For our education project Stichting Corantijn was allowed to collect furniture from Heuvelman Sound & Vision including desks, office chairs and cable trays.
A number of desk and office chairs will be donated to the Police Training Centre in Paramaribo. The rest will go to schools.
The employees had already removed the furniture from the offices and taken to the warehouse. Together with our contact the truck was being loaded up. A few of our volunteers were ready to receive the goods in our depot and take them into the container.
As soon as the container is full and there are enough funds it will be shipped to Surinam.
