Uncle Theo from Jaw Jaw has had a serious accident 15 years ago.
Since that time he needs help and sits in a wheelchair.
Jaw Jaw is a Saramaccaans marronvillage where 350 people live.
The village is located in the jungle on the Suriname river.
His old wheelchair needed to be replaced desperately.
Stichting Corantijn was able to help and supplied him with a better wheelchair.
This way uncle Theo can stay among the people and participate in the social activities of the village.
