During a heavy storm three roofs were blown of three small houses in the village of Balingsoela.
Two of the roofs were able to be placed back again, with some adjustments.
The roof of one of the houses was badly damaged and could not be repaired.
Stichting Corantijn bought building materials and roofing sheets and these were taken to the family.
Villagers helped them to unload.
They immediately went to work to replace the damaged roof.
The family is overjoyed with our help.
