Mid February our Stichting Corantijn was approached by Mr. Dennis Wormer from the city of Tilburg. He wanted to know if we would be interested in a donation of all sorts of goods. It consisted of (school) furniture, medical goods, toys, computer screens etc, etc. And of course all these goods are very welcome.
Last weekend, the sponsor called several volunteers to help load the bus, trailer and box truck.
Also in Lelystad a group of volunteers was ready to unload the goods and temporarily store them in the depot so that they can be sorted, packed and registered by name in the coming week.
We are going to make a lot of people, schools and institutions very happy.
Thanks to De Baanderij for putting at our disposal their box truck free of charge and donating the petrol. And not to forget, big thanks to all the volunteers in Tilburg and Lelystad who helped us on their free Saturday.
