Day of Churches with its theme ‘Discover! The Church’ took place on Saturday the 24th of June in Hoogeveen. Many churches in Hoogeveen took part.
There was a symposium, exhibitions, tours, performances, a book- and information market and the Van Echtenstraat was turned into a children’s square.
The overall goal: to bring more people into contact with the church.
The New Apostolic Church also took part this day.
Stichting Corantijn was represented by two church members.
A presentation was held about the foundation and visitors could browse through self-made cards and other small goods that were put on display in the market stall.
Inspirational conversations took place that day and items worth € 20,00 were sold on behalf of Stichting Corantijn.
