Where does our emergency aid go

The emergency aid goes to our fellow brothers and sisters and their immediate surroundings but also to children’s homes for neglected, homeless, physical and mental disabled children. Furthermore to hospitals, homes for the elderly, aid stations and villages in the interior of Surinam. Schools are also supported by us.

    Who are we

Stichting Corantijn originates from the social welfare work of the New Apostolic Church in the Netherlands. Our mission is to contribute to the development of the local population on spiritual, social, medical and educational issues. We are founded in 1997 under the name APS. Due to the fact that our field of activity changed, the name of the foundation is renamed to Stichting Corantijn.

    What is it we do

We try to support our fellow-man in Surinam by, among other things, sending emergency aid. In addition to this we support the NATSJ-home – New Apostolic Home for Studying Youngsters. In this home we give 15 youngsters from the Surinam interior an opportunity to study in Paramaribo.
