05.05.2011 Donation SGL & ICS Arcus well spent!

In the past week we have been forced to look for a new washing machine as the current machine washed it’s last cycle the last day before the Easter holidays.

The water literally poured out of every opening except the hose and after 8 years of dedicated service it finally gave way.

The idea to go and look for a new one already excisted after having received a donation from Scholengemeenschap Lelystad (SGL) and Interconfessionele Scholengemeenschap Arcus (ICS Arcus).

The old machine was mainly used for the washing of towels and sheets of the 14 children and the night caretaker. As we were extremely happy with its performance over the years we looked for and eventually found an identical machine!

The little money left over from the donation will be used to buy washing powder and will last us for the rest of the year. How nice the linen and towels will smell.

The ‘aunties’ and children thank SGL & ICS Arcus again for their kind donation!
