The sports and games equipment event proved to be an overwhelming success!

The contents of the play boxes collected for the youth of Surinam’s seven congregations was finally shipped overseas on 12 March.

All of the congregations received a box filled with sports and games equipment shortly before summer holidays. These sturdy boxes were built by a brother from Brownsweg, a congregation in the interior of Surinam.

In August youth from all over Surinam met at the youth day. Obviously, the new materials came in hand! The youth played badminton, football, baseball and cards until they couldn’t go on any longer…

Thanks to you the youth of Surinam had a wonderful time!

And there is more good news:
Thanks to your generosity we had equipment to spare!

Fantastic! All the remaining materials were shipped to Surinam in June, where they are currently being divided. Consequently, the NATSJ-home as well as many schools and children’s homes will benefit from the wonderful result of the sports and games collection.
